Its no secret, I LOVE babies! Their cute little rolls, chubby cheeks, beautiful skin and eyelashes, pouty lips and big gorgeous eyes, gah! I could just squeeze them for days!! Ok, ok, calm down Rachel, or your gonna end up with baby number five, ha! So I was thrilled when Mr. Teddy and his family decided to come back in for his milestone session. I had photographed his newborn session as well! Some like to call this a “sitter” session, as this is when baby can sit unassisted, or sometimes we call it a milestone session, simply to document how big baby has grown.
Meet the Olsen Family!
Teddy was a sweet newborn that I photographed back in July 2018. Teddy’s mom and dad opted for my baby plan which is a great option for baby’s first year being photographed. At both our sessions, big brother Brandt was such a proud big brother, and so sweet. We had so much fun running around the studio (thats what all kids do here, they love the open space), and we even got a few sweet moments of the two together. Teddy was so happy in mommy’s arms, it really made my heart sing to see their bond and how cute they are together! Daddy helped change outfits and was such a great help the whole session. I love seeing my families grow! I’m so lucky to get to call this my job.
Baby Sessions, Props and Outfits
At my studio we provide all props, outfits and backdrops for your baby’s session. My clients love this feature of our studio, as it takes a lot of pressure off of the parents, ok mom, it takes the pressure off of mom to plan outfits and shop for them, etc. You already have so much going on! And most of my outfits and props are meant to work together to give you that look that you love. I love my neutrals, but have been experimenting more with pops of color to add a little variety to your sessions. Color photography was meant to be, well, colorful!
