As we prepare to re-open the studio on June 5, I am reminiscing about the last session before Covid 19 caused us to close and stay at home. I am so thankful for this session, because it was perfect in every way.
Sukruth’s gorgeous mom, Harshini, came in for a maternity session as well, and was completely radiant. She has the longest, most beautiful hair that looked perfectly elegant with a floral crown and emerald green maternity gown. Harshini and Shashank, Sukruth’s dad, were so excited to meet their new bundle of joy.
Inspired by the beauty of the maternity session, I tried to match the backdrop of the newborn session with mom’s green dress, and it looked amazing with his perfect skin.
Pro Design Tip: Connecting sessions with a similar color tone can really help create a theme for the different prints and a perfect wall display.
Baby Sukruth was so happy in his mom and dad’s arms, and their love for him is clearly evident in the way they look at and hold their newborn son. They will be amazing parents.
One of the things I truly admire about the Indian culture is the entire family’s involvement when a new baby is born. Harshini’s mom came over from India to help with the baby after his birth, and i was lucky enough to photograph her with her new grandson as well.
I am so thankful to have worked with such a loving family, and I cannot wait to get back in the studio and work with more.
Wishing you and your families well,
Rachel
