Hello, hello! Boy we have been so busy behind the scenes here! Tons of babies, expecting mamas and celebrating one year sessions at the studio! Not to mention this sweet newborn, Sasha, who was recently in the studio for her very first modeling gig 😉
Mom and Dad, Maris and Eric, were so excited to bring this little bundle of joy into the studio for her newborn session. As was proud big brother, Owen. Mom had a special request, since Sasha was born near her big brother’s birthday we combined the session so we could shine the spotlight on this handsome dude as well.
Coming to Phoenixville from the Main Line for a newborn photography session is an easy drive through Valley Forge park. I was so happy when mom contacted me to let me know they were expecting baby number 2! I find most parents can be apprehensive about including a toddler in the session, but I always reassure them, I have never NOT been able to get the shot. We even got one where both Sasha and Owen were looking at the camera at the same time.
I wanted to include mom’s favorite color, green, in the session. Green is not a color I shoot a lot of, so it was really nice to add some variety to the shoot. Being a natural redhead, I knew green would look beautiful on mom, so she wore a green dress as well. I love to be extra silly with the little ones to get those genuine smiles.
Maris chose to print her photos in one of our beautiful heirloom albums. We also printed her some beautiful prints of Owen. I love watching these young families grow and contribute to their family legacy.
