Oh sweet little Addie! How I love those big cheeks and squishy thighs!! Makes me miss my children as babies so much! But this is why I do what I do, I get to snuggle all the cute babies, then give them back to their mommies and daddies. Ha! I’m so lucky! Addie returned to the studio for her one year cake smash session. I had previously photographed this angel baby for her newborn and 6 month sessions over the last year.
Addie was joined by big brother, Weston, whom I photographed for a one year and newborn session as well! I love incorporating older siblings into the shoot as you just never know what you are gonna get. Weston was much more cooperative for this session than he had been for his little sister’s newborn session. I could see how much he loves his little sis after getting to know her a little better, wink, wink.
One of my parents’ favorite set ups that I do is this one below with the letters O, N, and E. I love to document the age and have a really sweet moment for parents to cherish. These always look really beautiful printed on the wood blocks we sell at the studio. Dads especially love them!
Addie’s newborn pictures incorporated sunflowers, so I thought this would be an appropriate set for her one year photo session. Mom was happy that I provided all of the outfits and sets that match so she didn’t have to worry about trying to coordinate anything!
