Sunflowers are known to be “happy” flowers, so they are the perfect way to bring joy into your day. So, when Renesha said she wanted to incorporate these bright, yellow flowers – I was all in!
Flowers that represent happiness and joy are the perfect symbol for motherhood, and this gorgeous mama was like a sunflower in full bloom – radiant and full of life.
The floral crown and this bright, flowing gown were so perfect for this session, and truly helped her to shine bright in every single maternity photo.
Sunflowers also symbolize adoration, loyalty and longevity, making them the perfect symbol of a growing family as well. This mom and dad showed such adoration for one another through the entire session, and they will be loyal and loving parents forever.
Renesha is a natural in front of the camera, and it was so much fun working with her! I love being able to play with different styles and props in a maternity shoot, and she brought creative ideas with her for this session and truly let me bring them to life.
This tiny bundle of joy is due to arrive toward the end of November, and mom and dad are counting down the days!
Don’t be afraid to bring your own ideas, like sunflowers, to your photography sessions – they just might make for some perfect photos!
