Baby’s first year, sigh…. How much I love babies. The sweetness and innocence in their eyes. The joy and wonder in the everyday. Discovering toes and learning new tricks. Babies just know how to live life!
Ziggy came in for a one year cake smash session as part of our Dream Big Sessions going on now at our studio in Phoenixville. We had so much fun! Mom was very apprehensive that Mr. Ziggy would not respond well to being photographed, and trust me, do I get that fear. I have four kids, they all have very different personalities. Some were easy babies that loved to laugh and smile, others took a little more convincing that we were having a good time, lol. So I always tell parents, not to worry. We are used to it and know how to get baby to smile and have fun. As you can see, he ended up having a blast. I know mom was relieved.
One Year Photo Sessions, You Should Do It!
So Let’s talk about this. Should you do a one year session for your baby? YES!!! A million times over, yes!!! I’m not saying this because its my profession, I’m saying this as a mom. This is such a huge milestone, and for me it was always a bitter sweet one. They are growing into toddlers, if not walking already, soon to be, they start talking, they grow into themselves, their little personalities are starting to shine through. Its such an amazing time.
This ONE image below is a favorite of mine to create. As you can see here, they look soooo cute together, I have some awesome printing options for these guys as well ;). When they are 14 and emotional roller coasters, you can look back at these images and remember what a sweet little baby they were. Babies are amazing, that is all.
